Fisher Leadership conducted a comprehensive international search focused on Australia New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Canada providing a range of candidates to the Board for consideration. As part of the initial process Fisher Leadership undertook a range of stakeholder briefings in order to gain a complete view of the nuances of the position. A shortlist of five candidates were selected for panel interview, which the lead Fisher Leadership consultant participated in.
While all candidates were well qualified and aligned to Eastern Health’s values and future ambitions, the Board were impressed with David’s prior work with Eastern and his engaging leadership style.
