Mr. Nick Bush has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at East Grampians Health Service
Nick is a well-regarded contemporary Chief Executive with extensive experience gained over the last 17 years which has provided him with a thorough understanding of health policies, community needs, workforce requirements and funding systems.
Since mid-2018 until the middle of October 2021, Nick held the position of Chief Executive for Echuca Regional Health leading a 53-bed acute hospital including three operating theatres, an emergency department that has over 24,000 presentations per annum and an obstetric service that delivers in excess of 420 babies per year, a 60-bed high care residential aged care facility, extensive community based services including specialist consulting suites and the Hopwood Community Health Centre.
Before this Nick was the CEO for East Grampians Health Service for just under eight years where he was responsible for driving the organisation’s service development needs, ensuring managers and employees deliver the health services goals.
Prior to joining East Grampians Health Service in 2010, Nick was the CEO for Cobram District Health where he led the development of new services for the Health Service including leading the service configuration that required infrastructure and workforce development.
Earlier in his career Nick was engaged with Inner East Community Health Service as Health Services Manager.
